The general Secretary of the Bible Society of Uganda, Simon Peter Mukhama, has paid tribute to the Anglican Bishop Emeritus of Mukono, the Rt. Rev. Elia Paul Luzinda, for his dedication and aid to the company.
He referred to Luzinda, and all the different Prelates of the Church of Uganda, have enormously supported the Hand-written Bible initiative, which has generated about sh2bn, which the organization is presently the use of to build its new workplace building on Bombo street.
Mukhama made the acknowledgement all through the thanksgiving carrier for Bishop Luzinda's 10th marriage anniversary at St. Paul's Cathedral, Namirembe on Friday, September 17.
As a concrete signal of gratitude, Mukhama and his volunteers (from Bible condominium) exceeded a special present to Luzinda and his spouse Florence.
throughout the same function, Mukhama announced that Bible Society had temporarily shifted its workplaces from Bombo road to a new vicinity, on plot 215, Mawanda road.
The Bible shop/warehouse has remained at the old Bible apartment even though.
