A residing religion Church Zonal Cleric, Pastor Kehinde Olukunle, has blamed the expanding rate of divorce among Christians on inaccurate basis.
Olukunle spoke in an interview with the news agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday.
He counseled church leaders to intensify counselling for intending couples and be careful for marriages to give the appropriate information, to reduce the divorce fee.
"God is the groundwork of marriage, he is the one which ordained marriage by himself, so except man is aware that every secret of decent marriage lies in God, there'll continue to be divorce," he pointed out.

The cleric called for regular training and retraining of Christians on good practises to protect the wedding institution and raise moral values within the home and society.
