Bindi Irwin has written a heartfelt note to her late father, conservationist Steve Irwin, as she prepares to walk down the aisle.

On Friday, Bindi shared a post on Twitter and Instagram in tribute to her father, detailing how proud she believes he would have been to witness his son taking part in such a vital position at the wedding.

"Dad, you could be so particularly pleased with Robert. He has been such a very good support all through this appealing new lifestyles chapter," the 21-yr-old conservationist wrote.

"i know you'd be beaming with satisfaction when the time comes that he walks me down the aisle.

"I desire you may well be here for these moments, but i do know that your spirit lives on in us."

In her social media submit, Bindi shared a image of herself and Robert as babies with their folks, Steve and Terri Irwin.

Steve Irwin died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after being pierced in the heart by using the barb of a brief-tail stingray.
