With a major smile, NBC4's Meagan Fitzgerald broke the information that she and her "appealing fiancée" Kelly Heath are engaged.
Fitzgerald's co-anchors, Adam Tuss and Lauryn Ricketts, cheered and applauded at the good news.
Heath popped the question Saturday along the Tidal Basin, Fitzgerald said.
